Carol Ann Stec, 64, of Warren, PA. died Tuesday afternoon, February 3, 2015 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. Carol was born July 12, 1950 in Warren, PA., daughter of the late Frank J. and Helen Kushner Stec. Carol was a 1968 graduate of Youngsville High School. She attended the New Castle Trade School, worked at the former A.R.C. Workshop, now known as Bollinger Enterprises. She was also employed in various janitorial jobs, including Jefferson Elementary School.

She was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge 109 where she enjoyed playing Bingo on Wednesday nights. She was a volunteer at the St. Joseph Church soup kitchen, loved playing cards, knitting, crocheting and many bus vacation trips. She enjoyed time with friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews who made her proud.

Carol is survived by her brother, Joseph Stec and wife, Karen of Toledo, OH., sisters – Mary Bosko and husband, John,

Barbara Greenland and husband, Tim, Linda Spirdon and husband, Dean all of Warren, PA and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sharon DeVore Stec.

Friends may call in the gathering space of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, PA on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. directly following a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
