Ann Patricia Foley, 85, of Warren, PA. died at her residence Wednesday, November 14, 2012. She was born May 31, 1927 in Warren, PA. to the late John W. and Mary Elizabeth Costello Eagan. She was a lifelong Warren resident and was employed with Blair Corporation as a clerk in the mailing dept. where she retired from after 10 years employment. Ann was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed her winter stays in Florida.

She is survived by her 3 Children – Molly Tegeler and husband, David of Winter Park, FL., Monty Foley of Warren, PA., Michelle Campbell and husband, Scott of Deltona, FL., 1 Brother – Thomas Eagan of Port Charlotte, FL., 1 Sister – Madeline Shanshala of Warren, PA., 4 Grandchildren – Drew Tegeler, Andrea Walker and husband, Seth all of Winter Park, FL., Jenna Campbell of Jacksonville, FL., Cristy Campbell of Deltona, FL., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers – James, Richard, Eugene, Edward, Joseph Eagan, 2 Sisters – Ellen Carr, Mary Wilcox.

Mark D. Still, 49, Warren, PA. died peacefully in his sleep at his residence, Tuesday evening, November 6, 2012. He was born July 6, 1963 in Warren, PA. to Chuck and Carol Wilson Still of Warren, PA. He was a 1981 graduate of Warren Area High School and Paul Smith College of Paul Smith, N.Y. where he earned an associates degree in forestry. He was a Warren area resident for half of his life and formerly of New Hampshire and Massachusetts for over 20 years. He was employed with Chem Lawn, T and K Sealing of Rockland in Massachusetts and was co-owner and operator of Coaches Bar and Grille of Xenia, Ohio. He had also been employed with DHL in Dayton, Ohio in the Hazmat Dept. Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially enjoyed catching trout, he was a big fan of Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He had a great love of his family.

Eleanor F. Jones, 95, a resident of the Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, PA. and formerly of Warren, PA. died at her
residence, Friday evening, November 9, 2012. She was born April 19, 1917 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Frank and Florence Theismeyer Fritts. She was a resident of Warren, PA. since 1983 moving here from Cleveland, Ohio. She was employed as Director of the Noble Road Presbyterian Church Nursery School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio for 10 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Warren First Presbyterian Church. Eleanor had served with the U.S Navy during World War II as a Lieutenant.

She is survived by her 2 children – David F. Jones and his wife, Kathleen, Martha Jones all of Warren, PA., 1 Granddaughter – Katherine Amos and her husband, Kevin whom she helped raise in Willowick, Ohio, 3 Great Grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gomer J. Jones whom she married August 10, 1943 in New York City, N.Y., who died September 7, 2007, 1 Sister – Louise Clewell.

A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family by Rev. Ellie Johns-Kelly Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Fred Falvo

Fred D. Falvo, 70, of Warren, PA. died Saturday morning, November 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 13, 1941 in Warren, PA. to the late James V. Falvo and Sophie Gigliotti Falvo Johnson. He was a lifelong Warren resident and a 1961 graduate of Warren High School. Fred was employed with the former Struthers Wells Corporation as a welder for 20 years and retired from Penn24 Plumbing and Heating where he was a plumber for 6 years. He was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church and the Warren Moose Lodge 109. He was an avid Nascar fan and supported any driver who drove a Ford. Fred was known as the family and neighborhood “Mr. Fix It” guy. His favorite pastime was tinkering in his garage, and enjoyed meeting his buddy’s for coffee at Country Fair. His family and especially his grandkids were his whole being. He was lovingly called Papa and grandpa.

Fred is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Greenawalt Falvo whom he married October 15, 1966 in Crown, PA., 2 Children – Rick Falvo and his wife, Julie of Warren, PA., Kim Falvo Quimby and her husband, Chris of Pittsburgh, PA., 5 Grandchildren – Christian, Matthew and Anna Falvo, Adelyn and Avery Quimby, several nieces and nephews. Edward A. “Ed” Danetz, 67, of Russell, PA. died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Warren General Hospital Emergency Room after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born September 25, 1945 in Riverside, N.J. to the late Herman A. and Sadie Schwed Danetz. Ed has resided in Russell for the past 13 years and was formerly of Youngsville, PA. He was a 1964 graduate of Burlington High School, Burlington, N.J. He was owner and operator for 11 years of Sucha Deal Carpeting and Floor Covering. He was of the Jewish Faith. Ed was always a very generous giving person, even beyond his death by donating to the center of organ and tissue recovery.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Margaret “Peggy” Skinner Danetz whom he married September 1, 2000 in Warren, PA., 1 Son – Richie Danetz and his companion, Sandy of Clementon, N.J., 1 Stepdaughter – Tina Britt and husband, Mike of Russell, PA., 2 Sisters – Bobbie Danetz of Delran, N.J., Lorelei Spector and husband, Rowland of Cherry Hill, N.J., 8 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion his dog, Moka, also survive. Bettie L. Williams Brown, 81, of Warren, PA. died Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M., October 30, 2012 after an extended illness. She was born October 29, 1931 in Warren, PA. to the late Matthew J. and Romaine Shirley Williams. She was a lifelong resident of Warren, PA. and was employed with the former New Process Company in the mailing dept. and also with the former Garland Farms, Solar Electric, and waitressed at the former Paces Restaurant. She was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, former member of the Sweet Adeline, enjoyed singing, gardening, camping and was a former cub scout leader. Bettie always made her children and grandchildren the center of her life.

She is survived by her 3 Children – James M. Brown and wife, Debbie, David A. Brown and wife, Alice and Julie L. Brown all of Warren, PA., 3 Grandsons, 2 Step Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Brown whom she married October 28, 1958 in Warren, PA. who died February 15, 2012, 1 Brother – Frank M. Thomas C. Swartz, 77 of Warren, PA. died Friday morning, October 19, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1935 in Lawsonham, PA., to the late Clyde and Sydney B. Thomas Swartz. Tom has resided in Warren since 1950 moving here from Lawsonham, PA. He was a 1953 graduate of Warren High School and was employed with the former Pennsylvania Bank and Trust Co. in the maintenance dept. and also with the Warren General Hospital retiring from there in 1996. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Warren Eagles Lodge, Life member of the Struthers Hose, 32nd Degree Mason with the Joseph Warren Masonic Lodge. He had served in the National Guard from 1953 until 1962.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Stahlman Swartz whom he married July 28, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV., 3 Children – Sue Ann Glass and husband, Matt of Milton, FL., Karen Harris and husband, Glenn of Houston, TX., David Swartz and wife, Tammy of N. Barbara Jacobs

Barbara F. Jacobs, 88, 102 McPherson St, Warren passed peacefully from this earth surrounded by family at her home, on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012.

Barbara was born April 24, 1924 in Lowell, Mass, where she was raised. Her heart was always in New England. She graduated from Skidmore College with a BA degree in English and married Robert B. Jacobs on Sept 11, 1948. Bob and Barbara raised their four children in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, where she was a homemaker and worked as a dental assistant. They retired to Sanford, Maine in 1978 where she worked part-time at the Sanford library, surrounded by her beloved books. She relished walks and riding the waves at her favorite beach in Kennebunkport. Barbara relocated to Warren after her husband’s passing August 5, 1993.

Her love of reading continued for her entire life and she filled her hours in Warren volunteering at the library, at Home Street School, and playing bridge. Until just 2 years ago she also filed part-time in Dr. Endres’ office, where she became everyone’s “Gram.” In her ‘spare time’ she loved to swim and knit and bake for family and friends. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her selfless good nature; she greeted the world with a smile and had a kind word for all she encountered.

Barbara is survived by her children: Jeffrey Jacobs and wife Marie, Fredericksburg, VA; Peter Jacobs and wife Linda, Medford, MA; Nancy Endres and husband Jay, Warren, PA; Wesley Jacobs and wife Beth, Warren, PA; her sister, Shirley Fenner and husband Jack, Rotonda West Florida; 8 grandchildren: Kristina Hughes and companion, Brian of Los Angeles, CA; Timothy Jacobs, Medford, MA; Forrest Jacobs and wife Barbara, Reading PA; Skyler Jacobs, Reading PA; Lena Kearney and husband Brison, Warren, PA; Emily Sorbara and husband Dino, Erie, PA; Carly Aloisio and husband Nick, Mars, PA; Robin Endres, Reading, PA. In addition to her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Charles “Uncle Buster” Forrest and infant great-grandsons, Owen and Liam Aloisio.

Dr. Nestor Kohut

Dr. Nestor Kohut, 94, of Warren, PA. died Friday morning, October 12, 2012. He was born December 4, 1917 in LVIV, Ukraine to the late Theodore and Olha Zelena Kohut. He has resided in Warren since 1969. He had been a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Dental School, Class of 1957 where he earned his degree as a doctor of dentistry. He was employed as a dentist at the Warren State Hospital from 1969 until he retired there in January 1983. He was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Church. Nestor was a longtime volunteer at Warren General Hospital, one of the founding members of the Warren Stamp Club, a honorary member of the Warren Unit of the American Cancer Society Board of Directors, former member of the Warren Dental Association and American Dental Association.

He was active in the Warren Chest Club where he was known as “The Chestmaster” He is survived by his good friend, Patricia L. O’Dea and her children – Kathleen O’Dea-Wiles and husband, Kevin of Warren, PA., Karen McLaughlin and husband, George “Griz” of Youngsville, PA., Maureen Berg and husband, Stan of N. Warren, PA., 4 Grandchildren – Alex Berg, Lindsey Berg, Zachary McLaughlin and Ashley McLaughlin, 3 cousins in the USA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother – Vladimir Kohut.

Nate R. Sedon, 20, of Warren, PA. died as the result of a one car motor vehicle accident on Preston Hill Road, Warren, PA. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. He was born July 31, 1992 in Warren, PA. He was a lifelong Warren area resident. Nate graduated from Warren Area High School Class of 2010 and attended Bradford College in Pittsburgh, PA. for Graphic Design.

He had a great love and passion for music and was the bass guitar player and song writer for his band, East Coast Rhythm.

He enjoyed paint ball battles, and lived his life to the fullest.

He is remembered as always being a giving, optimistic and kind soul who always had a charismatic smile on his face.

He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Tammy Haight Sedon of Conover, N.C., his high school sweetheart, Amanda Guthrie, 3 Sisters – Jessi Sedon-Essad and husband, Michael, Elizabeth Sedon all of Pittsburgh, PA., Kathy Sedon and Ben Visnic both of Morgantown, W.V., 1 Brother – Tim A. Sedon and Shayla, Chamberlain of Warren, PA., Maternal Grandparents – Ray and Elizabeth Ustach Hesch, Paternal Grandmother – Joan Sedon all of Warren, PA., Best Friends and roommates, Joel VanOrd, Bubba Sweet, and Doug Sigmund, several aunts, uncles, cousins.
