James W. Wagner, 76, of Cherry Grove Rd., Clarendon, PA. died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family, Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He was born March 21, 1939 in Harborcreek, PA. James was the son of John Edwin and Irene Emma Pratt Wagner. He was a former Albion, PA., resident. Jim was a graduate of Harborcreek High School and University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He was owner and operator of Albion and Sheffield, PA., Pharmacies and retired in 2003 from Warren State Hospital after 15 years employment. He had also worked with Thrift Pharmacy and ran Stephen Professional Pharmacy of Meadville, PA., and McAndrews Drug Store in Titusville, PA.

He had served as President of the Cherry Grove Fire Department, was a member and past President of Sheffield Rod & Gun Club,, Foster Parent and Foreign Exchange Student Parent, Past President of the Sheffield Medical Board, St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church where he served as Past President of the church council and charter member of the Sheffield Knights of Columbus Council. He was currently a Cherry Grove Twp. Supervisor. He had served as President of NEHCA – North East Highland Cattle Association. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is remembered as a man with a dazzling sense of humor, who was generous with his time and talents. He truly had a Servants Heart and gave his all to the benefit of others.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Louise Washabaugh Wagner whom he married September 3, 1962 in Harborcreek, PA., Children – James W. Wagner, II and wife, Kathryn of Cherry Grove, PA., Dr. Jean M. Lindsey of Bourbonnais, ILL., Jennifer S. Giannelli and husband, Dan of Erie, PA., John P. Wagner of Cherry Grove, PA, Judith F. Fischer and husband, Eric of Kasilof, Alaska,

Foster Sons – Scott Hoyt and wife, Darlene of Kane, PA., Rafael Figeroa Godoy and wife, Victoria of Guatemala Central America,

1 Brother – John T. Wagner and wife, Carol of Sebring, FL., 1 Sister – Mary Lou Scott and husband, Raymond of Erie, PA., 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church, 7222 Route 6, Sheffield, PA., from 10 to 11:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with Fr.
