Stephen Dilick, 71, of Barnes, PA. died Friday afternoon, March 7, 2014 at Warren General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born December 9, 1942 in Apollo, PA. He is the son of Norma M. Shawley Dilick and the late Frank J. Dilick. Stephen was a longtime resident of Barnes, PA. and a 1960 graduate of Shannock Valley High School. He had a long career working in the light bulb industry and had been employed with Rite-Lite, Solar Electric, Philip Lighting and Sylvania as a maintenance mechanic and supervisor. He retired in 2004 from Quality Components. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He was a member of St. Anthony R.C. Church

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Judy Bator Dilick whom he married August 14, 1965 at St. James Church, New Bedford, PA., 2 Children – Sheryl Burge and husband, Robert of Sheffield, PA., Scott Dilick of Milwaukee, WI, Daughter-in-law, Julie Beck Dilick of Fortville, IN., 4 Brothers – Gregory Dilick and wife, Jackie of King George, VA., M. David Dilick and wife, Juanita of Madison, TN., Daniel Dilick and wife, Susan of Clarendon, PA., Jeffrey Dilick and wife, Rose of San Diego, CA, 4 Sisters – Leona Castagnino and husband, Joseph, Patricia Peck and husband, Gary all of Warren, PA., Sharon Cummings and husband, Stephen of Russell, PA., Cynthia Dilick of Depew, NY., 4 Grandchildren – Kayla and Kyle Burge, Noel and Jacob Dilick, 1 Great Granddaughter, Kirra Nicole Causer, 2 Brother-in-laws, Jerry Bator and wife, Joan of Bradford,A., Roland Bator and wife, Pat of Brunswick, OH., 1 Sister –in-law, Billie Jean Bator of Lewisville, TX., several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Shawn Dilick who died on July 18, 2013, Father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Anna Trope Bator, 1 Brother-in-law, Lambert John Bator, 1 Nephew – Marty Dilick.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 4 to 7 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church with Fr. John Neff, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Barnes Cemetery.
