Obituary

Allyn Fred Seither, born on April 3, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, peacefully passed away in the night on July 6, 2026. Allyn was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and humor.

Allyn was the cherished son of Donald Leroy and Barbara Seither (Streich), both of whom have preceded him in passing, along with his younger brother, Steven Carl Seither. He is survived by his three sons, Donald Steven, Andrew Philip, and Barry Allyn Seither, and his loving sisters, Donna Risinger and Kathy Hawk. Allyn leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, especially cherished by his grandson, Luke Benjamin Seither, his pride and joy.

Allyn attended Warren High School as a member of the Class of 1977. Afterwards, he went on to serve his country with honor in the U.S. Navy from 1977 to 1981. Although the nation was not engaged in an official conflict during his service, Allyn demonstrated steadfast dedication amidst the tensions of the Cold War and the Iran Hostage Crisis.

Allyn's life was filled with joy and zest, evident in his passion for sports and his unwavering support for his favorite teams: the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Florida Gators. His love for sports led him to attend numerous events throughout his life, creating countless memories with family and friends. In his leisure time, Allyn indulged in his love for the television series NCIS, often humorously answering his phone with a playful "Yeah, Gibbs," making his sons chuckle and cringe simultaneously. There was a time that you'd walk into his house knowing Gibbs and crew would be working a case on his Television.

Known for his unique sense of humor and borderline inappropriate jokes and stories, Allyn had the remarkable ability to make people laugh. His laughter and light-hearted spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Burial with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 17, 2026, in Oakland Cemetery, 37 Mohawk Ave. Warren, PA, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.lewisfuneralhomeinc.com., or on the funeral home Facebook page.

“May Allyn rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts and remembered for the love and laughter he brought into the world”
