Ann Walker Davis, 91, of Warren, PA, beloved mother, wife and grandmother, died on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Corry Manor in Corry, PA. Ann was born on May 3, 1922 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Will Allan and Nell Granquist Walker. She was a graduate of Arlington Hall in Washington, DC and attended Pennsylvania College for Women. Ann was co-publisher of the Warren Times Mirror, a family-owned newspaper established in 1883 by Silas E. and Edward C. Walker. She was a long-time member of the Conewango Valley Country Club and attended the Bemus Point United Methodist Church. Ann adored her family, home, and loved her dogs and gardening. Ann is survived by her husband, Charles M. Davis, whom she married on August 29, 1947 in Russell, PA, her daughter, Elizabeth N. Davis of Warren, PA, her son, Charles W. Davis and his wife, Julie, of Edmonds, WA, and two grandchildren, Kathryn W. Davis and John M. Davis. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Jane W. Kopf. The family held a private visitation on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. 304 East Street, Warren, PA and private funeral and committal services were held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Bemus Point United Methodist Church with Pastor William Allen officiating. Interment will be private in Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA.
