Annie Selan, 88, of Warren, PA., died Thursday morning, October 5, 2017 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home. Annie was born September 10, 1929 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada to the late Ludvik and Ana Carman Kolenc. She was a Warren area resident since November, 1965 and was employed as a bookkeeper with the former Drs. Jones, Snyder and Duell dentist office. She had a been a member with the Warren Art League. She enjoyed playing tennis, bowling, gardening, platform (paddle) tennis and golfing at Blueberry and Cable Hollow Golf Courses. She was a big Pittsburgh Penguin's enthusiast.

She is survived by her 5 children – Mary L. Selan and husband, Thomas Cosgrove of Elverson, PA., Jane L. Lefever and husband, Keith of Mechanicsburg, PA., Peter M. Selan of Lewisberry, PA., Steven D. Selan and wife, Debra of Russell, PA., Robert A. Selan and wife, Lisa of Mechanicsburg, PA., 1 Sister – Mary Dekleva and husband, William of N. Tonawanda, N.Y., 8 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Selan, whom she married September 16, 1950 in Gowanda, N.Y. who died May 26, 1987, 1 Sister – Pauline Zgonc, 1 Granddaughter – Amy Selan.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
