Bertha Irene Boughton, 93, of Warren, PA., a resident of the
Warren Manor Nursing Home died there Thursday afternoon,
November 26, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born
October 1, 1922 in Falconer, N.Y. Bertha was the daughter of
Charles Virgil and Gaynell Irene Drace Birchard. She was a
longtime resident of Weldbank and was employed with the
former New Process Company for many years. Bertha was a
member of the Warren Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses.
Bertha is survived by 6 children – Bettie Bailey and husband,
James W., of Warren, PA., Joan Blum and husband, William of
Starbrick, PA., Marian Edmiston, Linda Belcher and husband,
Richard E., all of Sheffield, PA., Virgil L. Boughton and wife,
Sally, James L. Boughton and wife, Mary Kay all of Warren, PA.,
1 Sister – Helen Nelson of Tidioute, PA., 2 Half-Brothers – Lyman
H. Morrison of Lansing, MI., Robert L. Morrison and wife, Sandy
of Tidioute, PA., 2 Half-Sisters – Mary Croker of Pittsfield, PA.,
Mabel E. Brown of Youngsville, PA., 14 Grandchildren, 25 Great
Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband of 60 years, Harry L. Boughton whom she married
November 1, 1937 in Russell, PA., infant son, Harry L. Boughton,
Jr., in 1945, 1 Granddaughter – Sharon Bailey, 2 Sisters– Lillian
Turner, Shirley McKay, 1 Brother – William F. Birchard,

East Street, Warren, PA., on Tuesday, December 1, 2015
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A memorial service will be conducted
Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses, 201 Pleasant Drive, Warren, PA., with her
son, James L. Boughton, Elder, presiding. Interment will be in
Warren County Memorial Park. Those wishing to place
