Christine M. Smith, 94, of Tiona, PA died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA. Born on January 2, 1919 in Williamsport, Pa she was the daughter of the late John J. Szybist and Katherine Zielewicz Szybist. On May 22, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA she married Elmer L. Toth, who died on August 8, 1983. On November 28, 1993 in Sheffield, PA she married Walter Smith who survives. Mrs. Smith was a long-time licensed practical nurse at Warren State Hospital. She was a member of St. Anthony of Peduca R. C. Church in Sheffield, PA and was a member of National Camping Travelers. Surviving in addition to her husband Walter of Tiona, PA, are three children, Mary Catherine Blaski and her husband, John, of Virginia Beach, VA, Linda J. Jordan and her husband, Tim, of Tiona, PA, Allen W. Smith of Tiona, PA, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one brother, John J. Szybist and his wife, Jean, of Williamsport, PA, three sisters, Wilhelmina T. Waldman and her husband, Emil, Virginia L. Szybist, and Jacqueline C. Fleisher and her husband, Bob, all of Williamsport, PA, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by two grandsons, Christopher J. Blaski and Jeffery L. Blaski, two brothers, Edward J. Szybist and Frank S. Szybist, and four sisters, Lenora H. Lukowsky, Evelyn C. Hoover, Thelma E. Bradley, and H. Jeanne Caringi. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M., where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:45 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Anthony of Peduca R. C. Church with Fr. John Neff, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R. C.
