David S. Woods Jr., 68, of Erie, PA, formerly of Warren, PA, died on Monday July 13, 2026, after suffering an apparent heart issue while at work.

He was born on December 12, 1957, in Warren, PA, the son of David S. Woods Sr., and the late Margery I. Woods. David was a former resident of Pheonix, AZ for many years, as well as Warren, PA, and Erie, PA. He worked as a self -employed general contractor. David was family man, and it was very important to him. He was always sure to stay in touch with everyone, and was there for anyone who needed him, he had a big heart.

In addition to his father, David Sr., Dave is survived by his siblings, Mary Sue DeHart of Florida, John Woods and wife, Barb of Warren, and Margie Murray and husband, Mike of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Margery, who passed on September 1, 2012, Dave is preceded in death by his sister, Ernestine Woods.

Family will receive friends on Saturday July 18, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, PA 16365. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
