Edward E. Vaughan, 78, of Warren, PA., died suddenly of natural causes, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Ed was born November 21, 1944, in Warren, PA. He was the son of Clifford and P. Avanell Kelly Vaughan. Ed was a lifelong Warren area resident and had resided in Budapest, Hungary while working for Lorangers Manufacturing, working there from the beginning of operations until their closure. He was still actively working doing carpentry and electrical work which he took great pride in until his passing and enjoyed sharing his talent with so many. He was a very proud U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Ed enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, model railroads and wine making. He enjoyed telling stories of his shenanigans throughout life. He was a huge animal lover and adored his furry companion, Queenie. He loved the Hungarian people, and their culture and made many lifelong friends there. Even though Ed was 78 years old, he always felt in his mind, that he was very young at heart. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Vaughan Moore and husband, Marty, his dear friend, Bonnie Gray all of Warren, PA., 2 stepdaughters – Kim and Lori Carvelli, 1 sister – Patricia L. Vaughan, 1 special niece – Brenda Covell both of Ormond Beach, FL, 1 special nephew – Troy Kasick of Allentown, PA., several other nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Lynne Vaughan Kasick who died September 23, 1985. A celebration of Ed's life will be held at a date and time to be announced.
