Harry F. Boekeloo, 84, of Warren, PA., died Monday evening, July

13, 2015 at the Rouse Warren County Home after an extended

illness. He was born February 15, 1931 in Chicago, IL.

He was the son of Pearl Angstrom Boekeloo. Harry was a

graduate of Chicago Vocational School and earned a metallurgist

degree from Illinois School of Technology. He had served with

the United States Army during the Korean War as a Sergeant.

While in Chicago, he had worked on the railroad. Starting in 1976

to 1985 he had been employed with both the Erie National Forge

and National Forge Company of Irvine, PA. In December 1985 he

started the G & R Machine Company where he was still active in

the daily operations of the business. He was a member of First

Lutheran Church where he had been head usher, a member of the

church council and finance committee. He had served as Past

President of both the Conewango Club and Conewango Valley

Country Club, was a past board member of BEI, and a former

Warren County School Board Member. He was a member of the

Warren Elks Lodge, Eagles Aerie, Monday Night Penny Poker

group and Conewango Club Bowling League. He was an avid

golfer, bowler and Chicago Bears Fan. He was fortunate enough

to obtain a "Hole-in-One" at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Schlueter

Boekeloo whom he married June 20, 1953 in Chicago, IL., 4

Children – Ronald F. Boekeloo of Warren, PA., Nancy L. Boekeloo

of Erie, PA., Tom H. Boekeloo and wife, Laurie of Ballston Spa,

NY, Ginny M.. Bevevino and husband, Ross of Warren, PA., 1

Sister – Marlene Boyer and husband, Paul of Homewood, IL. ,

Brother-in-law, Paul Dreger of Worth, IL.,

6 Grandchildren – Zachary and Lydia Boekeloo, Jackie Snyder,

Sara Bevevino, Joe Bevevino and wife, Lindsay, Samantha

Bevevino, his beloved cat and friend, Suzy, several nieces and

nephews.

Friends may call at the First Lutheran Church, 109 West Third

Avenue, Warren, PA., on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 10:00 to

11:00 A.M. when a memorial service will be conducted with Rev.

Jeffrey Ewing, Pastor, officiating. The family suggests memorial
