Obituary

Helen L. Kane Scalise, 85, of Pleasant Twp., Warren, PA., died

Tuesday afternoon, January 31, 2017 at Warren General Hospital.

She was born October 29, 1931 in Warren, PA., daughter of the

late Richard and Catherine Lucks Kane. Helen was a lifelong

Warren area resident and a 1950 graduate of Warren High School.

She was employed as branch manager with the former National

City Bank, working at the East Side branch, retiring in 1997 after

25 years employment.

She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, former member of

the Warren Zonta Club, Warren Business and Professional

Women's Club and a member of the Ladies of the Warren Moose

Lodge 109. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her son – Frank A. Scalise and wife, Linda of

Warren, PA., her daughter – Linda Everett and husband, William

of Adamstown, MD., 1 Sister – Nancy Lyon and husband,

William of Warren, PA., 2 Brothers – Richard Kane of

Youngsville, PA., Harold Kane and wife, Karen of Warren, PA., 1

Grandson – Joseph A. Scalise and wife, Kara of Colorado Spring,

CO., 1 Granddaughter – Amanda Scalise of Tarentum, PA., 2

Great Grandchildren – Paige and Claire Scalise, Several nieces

and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was

preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dominick "Nick"

Scalise whom she married September 12, 1953 in Warren, PA.,

who died August 31, 2007, 2 Brothers – Donald and Raymond

Kane, 1 Sister – Janice Hawks.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304

East Street, Warren, PA., on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2 to 4

and 6 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 3:45

P.M., Friday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Joseph R.C.

Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA., on

Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Richard J.

Toohey, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in the

Mausoleum of the Resurrection in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
