Henry F. Szymczyk, 74, died Saturday, November 5, 2011.

He was born May 24, 1957 to Jon and Julia Pikula Szymczyk.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eleanor Maryanski Szymczyk, 3 children Julie Szymczyk, Joel Szymczyk and wife, Kelly, Roy Szymczyk and wife, Tammy, 3 grandchildren Andrew Szymczyk and his wife, Betheny, Lauren and Hunter Szymczyk, 2 step grandchildren Ty and Geddy Elmquist, 1 sister Marie Hoshino, 1 brother Anthony Szymczyk.

The words of love… "I am nothing special; of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough."

Per Henry's request, there will be no visitation hours observed and a private burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made through the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
