Jacquelyn E. White, 76, of Warren, PA., died peacefully Tuesday
morning, September 1, 2015 at Warren Manor Nursing Home.
She was born October 2, 1938 in Warren, PA., and was the
daughter of Donald E. and Eleanor VanGuilder Wilson, Sr.
Jacquelyn was a quality inspector in the wire department with
G.T.E. Sylvania for 27 years, retiring September 1, 1997. She
owned and operated Jacquelyn Hobby where she and her family
enjoyed producing ceramics works. She was an accomplished
artist. Jacquelyn had aspirations of owning her own restaurant
which never took fruitions. Those who enjoyed her baking and
cooking, wish she had. She enjoyed 13 winters in Florida, where
she was a member of the West Pasco Quilters Guild. She
thoroughly enjoyed quilting which gave her purpose in life.
Jacquelyn enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens and the
Birds and Butterflies the gardens attracted. She possessed a large
button collection. She is treasured as a happy go lucky, jovial,
loving person who greatly loved her family and friends,
especially her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Dean A. White
whom she married September 11, 1954 in Warren, PA., 3 Children
– Deana (Ding) Bonavita and husband, Andy, Doug White all of
Warren, PA., Darla White of Franklin, PA., 1 Brother – Keith
Nulph and wife, Edie of Sugar Grove, PA., 2 Grandchildren –
Brian Lang of Franklin, PA., Amy E. White and Fiance, Bill J.
Dorrion of Warren, PA., several nieces and nephews. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister – Charlene
Gray, 3 Brothers – Shawn Nulph, Don Wilson, Charlie Pastucha.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304
East Street, Warren, PA., on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 11:00
A.M. until 1:00 P.M., followed by a funeral and committal service,
Rev. Nancy Schwanke, Chaplain of the Warren State Hospital,
officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. Those
