John Peter Himchak, Jr., 62, of Bethesda, Maryland, died peacefully Tuesday morning, May 7, 2024, at his residence, after suffering an apparent heart attack. John was born November 23, 1961, in Washington, D.C. He was the son of the late John and Ann Marie Bleech Himchak. He was a lifelong resident of the Washington D.C. and Bethesda Maryland area. He was owner and operator of the John Himchak Construction Company, Inc. John was a member of St. Gregory of Nyssa Byzantine Catholic Church, Beltsville, MD John was a kind, loving person, who always put his family first. He is survived by his sister, Ann M. Himchak of Bethesda, MD several cousins Friends may call at St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, 407 School Street, Sheffield, PA., on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:00 A.M. with Fr.
