John Henry Matha, 68, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA., after a brief illness. He was born May 8, 1954, in Warren, PA. He was the son of Mildred Fileger Matha and Norman W. Matha, Sr. John was a lifelong Warren area resident. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School. John was employed with Warren State Hospital as a cafeteria worker for 3 years. He is survived by his best friend and his brother, Nicholas L. Matha whom he lived with for over 30 years, a half-sister, Barbara Ann Schmidt of Johnsonburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E.
