John W. Trisket Sr., 81, of Corry, PA, died on Sunday July 26, 2026, in the Corry Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Corry PA on June 12, 1945, the son of the late Charles (Herb) Trisket and Elizabeth (Betty) Wiggers Trisket
John spent his childhood between Corry, Pa and Clymer, NY. He graduated from Corry High School in 1963. He spent his working career primarily at Roger’s Structural Steel, Sehman Tire Service and Wayne Township.
He was married for a short time to Lynn Dolan, and they had a son Terry.
On December 13, 1969, in Spring Creek, PA, John married the former Paula L. Chiricuzio Trisket, gaining a stepson, Todd and having two more children, John Jr and Donald. They spent 55 loving years together, before she passed on December 24, 2024.
He and his wife Paula had a passion for antiques. They had been involved in this adventure for over 45 years in the tri-state area. After his retirement they dedicated more time to this passion and on top of having their own antique business they helped start-up the antique store Whistle Stop in downtown Corry. They managed it until in 2022 when they took a leap of Faith and bought the business. They ran it together until Paula’s passing and then carried it on until his passing.
John is survived by his 3 children, Terry Trisket, John Trisket Jr. and Donald (Tami) Trisket. He is also survived by a sister Linda (Rex) Messenger; all of Corry, PA. He was also blessed with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, and his wife, Paula, John was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald and Donald Trisket, his step-son, Todd M. Harvey and his in-laws, Frank Chiricuzio and Bernice (Clair) Whippo
