Joseph Alan "Joe Dad" Engle, 62, of Warren, PA, died on Wednesday February 11, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness.

He was born in Warren, PA, on February 24, 1963, the son of the late Warren F. Sr. and Larraine Anderson Engle. He attended Sheffield High School and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He loved to spend time with his family including his loving grandchildren. Joe enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was very talented with electronics and enjoyed working on computers and anything electronic. He also loved music and playing guitar.

On July 19, 1996, in Chandlers Valley, PA, Joe married Laura J., and they spent almost 30 loving years together.

In addition to his loving wife, Laura, Joe is survived by 3 children; Ray Sturdevant, and wife Sue of Youngsville, Lugene Sturdevant, and his significant other, Jessie Lyons, of Warren, PA, and Starrlene Wilson and husband Christopher, of Warren, PA; 4 grandchildren, Devon Wilson, Araya Wilson, Maeleigh Wilson, and Rowynn Howard; siblings, Desiree Sturdevant and husband Art, of Clarendon, PA, Anthony Engle of Warren, PA, Christine Gustafson, and husband Jason of Clarendon, PA, and John Miller of Pittsfield, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Engle and Warren Engle Jr.
