Judy Dilick, 82, of Barnes, PA., died after a long battle with cancer on Sunday morning, August 16, 2026, at her residence with her family at her bedside.
Judy was born September 15, 1943, in Sharon, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Anna Trope Bator. Judy was a longtime Barnes area resident. She was a 1961 graduate of Wilmington High School, and in 1964, she earned her Registered Nursing degree from Sharon Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed with Warren General Hospital, serving as head nurse in the OB/GYN Department and the OB/GYN office for 23 years, retiring in 2006. Judy was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, where she was an active member. She enjoyed scrap booking, working in her flower gardens, completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Judy is survived by her two children – Sheryl Burge and husband, Robert of Sheffield, PA., Scott Dilick of Barnes, PA., 4 Grandchildren – Kayla and Kyle Burge, Noel and Jacob Beck, 2 Great Granddaughters – Kirra and Sadaya Causer, 2 Brothers – Jerry Bator and wife, Joan of Bradford, PA., Roland Bator and wife, Pat of Brunswick, OH., 1 Sister – Jackie Dilick and husband, Greg of King George, VA. 2 Brother-in-laws, M. David Dilick and wife, Juanita of Madison, TN., Jeffrey Dilick and wife, Rose of San Diego, CA., 6 Sister-in-laws, Susan Dilick of Clarendon, PA., Leona Castagnino and husband, Joseph, Patricia Peck and husband, Gary all of Warren, PA., Sharon Cummings and husband, Stephen of Russell, PA., Cynthia Dilick of Barnes, PA., Billie Jean Bator of Keller, TX., several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Stephen Dilick, whom she married August 14, 1965, at St. James Church, New Bedford, PA., who died March 7, 2014, her son, Shawn Dilick who died July 18, 2010, 1 Brother – Lambert John Bator, her father and mother-in-law, Frank and Norma M. Shawley Dilick, brother-in-law, Daniel Dilick, nephew – Marty Dilick.
Friends and family will be received at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4 to 7 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, with Fr. Mark O’Hern, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Barnes Cemetery. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through the Warren Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, PA. 16365.
