She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 1, 1954, the daughter of the late Willie and Delores Steinman. Kathy was a graduate of General Braddock High School, Class of 1973. After high school she married John W. Flanigan on December 6, 1973. In her younger years, Kathy was a homemaker while raising her 3 children.

Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, baking, crocheting, and puzzles. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, and her favorite holiday was Halloween. Kathy also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Tina Knowlton and husband, Terry,  of Russell, Becky Marrone and husband, Robert, of Warren, and Jonna Jordan and husband, Andy, of Sheffield; 11 grandchildren, Kyle (Madison) Repine, Natasha Morrison and Dylan Morrison, Amber Jordan, Andrew Jordan Jr., Kimberly Ingersoll, Brandon Jordan, Michael Jordan, Mason Jordan, and Franklin Jordan; 9 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Tim Steinman and wife, Brenda, Delores Niver and husband, Keith, Patricia Morrison and husband, Todd, and Tony Steinman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed on January 30, 2007, after 34 years of marriage, and several siblings.

Friends may call on Thursday February 29th, 2024, at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, PA from 4:00 to 6:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating. Private burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery.
