Leonard D. Jedrek, 63, of Warren, PA., died Thursday afternoon,
February 9, 2017 at Warren General Hospital Emergency Room
after an extended illness. He was born April 17, 1953 in New
York Mills, N.Y. to the late John and Mary Ozog Jedrek. Leonard
was a Warren area resident since 1979 and was a graduate of New
York Mills High School, and a graduate of Clarkson University of
Pottsdam, N.Y. with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. He
was employed for 35 years with U.S. Forest Service as a Civil
Engineer, retiring in 2013. He was an avid golfer, hunter and
fisherman. Leonard enjoyed cooking, especially at his former
hunting camp on Robin Hill Rd, playing hockey, white water
rafting and making projects at his home. He did extensive
traveling in his life time. He is fondly remembered for his intense
sense of humor, wrapping Christmas gifts to himself pretending
they came from his wife, Kim.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kimberly Gustafson Jedrek
whom he married July 18, 1981 in Warren, PA., 3 Daughters –Erin
Briggs and husband, Shane, Meaghan Kirkpatrick and husband,
John, Taylor Jedrek and boyfriend, Adam Petrovich, 1 Grandson –
Quinn Robert Briggs all of Pittsburgh, PA., 1 Sister – Regina Ellis
& husband, Fred of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Mother-in-law,
Geraldine Gustafson of Warren, PA., 1 Brother –in-law, Randy
Gustafson and wife, Deborah of Bloomsburg, PA., several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-
in-law, Robert Gustafson.

East Street, Warren, PA., on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 5 to
8 P.M. where a funeral and committal service will be conducted
Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Marcus
Briggs, Chaplain of the Warren General Hospital, officiating.
