Marc A. Salerno, 70, of Warren, PA., died Friday evening, September 9, 2022, at Kane Lutheran Home, Kane, PA., after an extended illness. He was born March 17, 1952, in Warren, PA. Marc was the son of the late Albert P. "Slim" and Rita J. Seitz Salerno. He was a lifelong Warren resident. Marc was a 1970 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was employed for 42 years at the former National Forge Company as a bomb assembler, retiring in 2016. Marc was an avid hunter, fisherman. He loved being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheila M. Hilyer Salerno, whom he married October 17, 1971, 2 Children – Marc A. Salerno, II and wife, Georgia of Warren, PA., Cheri Spencer and husband, Scott of Barnes, PA., 1 Brother – Terry Lee Salerno and wife, Nancy of Warren, PA., 3 Grandchildren – Sabrina Lindstrom and husband, Nate, Justin Spencer, Jared Spencer, several nieces, and nephews.
