Margo M. Paul, 70, of Warren, Pa., passed away peacefully Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Warren General Hospital after an extended illness, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Warren, Pa., on December 28, 1955, the daughter of the late Charles L. “Chuck” Thompson and Gayle Wade Thompson. A 1974 graduate of Warren Area High School, Margo began her career with Watt Office Supply before becoming co-owner of Alpha Omega. She later dedicated 11 years to working as a caregiver before retiring from Tops in 2021.
Margo found joy in gardening, music, and celebrating the holidays. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren, visiting the casino, and relaxing in the sunshine at the Kinzua Dam. To many, she was both a motherly figure and a trusted friend who welcomed everyone in.
On Aug. 27, 1977, she married David L. Paul at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, and together they shared nearly 49 loving years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, Dave, Margo is survived by her three children, Jarad D. Paul of Salem, Ore., Amanda M. Paul of Warren, Pa., and Kurtis M. Paul (Kimberly Olsen) of Alexandria, Va.; three grandchildren, Keyah Marshall of Warren, Pa., and Lily and Teagan Paul of Oregon; her brother, Gary Truitt of North Carolina; her stepmother, Lynne Thompson of Florida; and her beloved and faithful companions, Bentley, Porsche, Ruby, and Lula.
Along with her parents, Margo was preceded in death by her sisters, Melissa Thompson and Pam Martin, and her brother, Wade Thompson.
Family and friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, 304 East St., Warren, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Holy Redeemer, 11 Russell St., Warren, Pa., with Rev. Mark O’Hern officiating.
