Marie Liberty Atwell, 90, of Youngsville, PA. , went to be with her
Lord on Sunday morning, February 7, 2016, at her residence.
She was born February 14, 1923 in Warren, PA. She was the
daughter of William and Lena Gifford Liberty. Marie had
worked at the former New Process Company and retired from
Rouse Warren County Home. In her spare time she enjoyed
doing crafts, gardening and spending time with family.
She is survived by her son, Gary Atwell and his wife, Hazel, 3
Grandchildren – Joshua Atwell and fiancé, Tiffany Fiscus, Gary
W. Atwell, II and fiancé, Jordanna Brecht and Madison Atwell,
4 Great Grandchildren – Parker Grace Atwell, Branden Atwell,
Hollie Atwell and Sophia Atwell, 3 Sisters – Betty Knupp, Ann
Arzner and husband Ron all of Warren, PA., Bee Reynolds of
Oviedo, FL. several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband of 57 years, Gerald Atwell whom she married May 4,
1945 in California, two infant children, 1 Sister – Faye Anderson.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral and committal service at
the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren,
PA., on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Carly
Moore, Pastor of the Warren Wesleyan Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Those
