Obituary

Patricia A. “Patti” Colosimo, 89, of Warren, PA, died on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the John & Orpha Blair Hospice House after an extended illness.

She was born in Kingsley Township, Forest County, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew Arnold and Dorothy Miller Arnold. Patti was a 1955 graduate of Warren Area High School, where she was a cheerleader during the undefeated football season!

She had numerous clerical jobs through the years working with Betts Industries and retiring from United Refining Company. On August 28, 1965, she married Carmen F. Colosimo, in St. Joseph R.C. Church.

Patti was very active and loved bowling, golfing, gardening, crafts, and woodworking. Her reindeer and Grinch themed yard decorations were a Christmas staple for years. She knitted hundreds of pairs of slippers and would give them to those she loved or who showed kindness. She could easily crank out a pair of slippers while watching her beloved Pirates or Steelers on TV; two pairs if it was a playoff game! Patti was a great baker and cook. She kept a well-stocked pantry and always had that obscure ingredient or kitchen gadget that was called for. She enjoyed hosting parties, especially during the holidays. Her Christmas cookies and confections were second to none, especially the chocolate covered cherries and Oreo/cream cheese cookies. Her No-Bake cookies, AKA “Cow Flops”, were a Sunday treat throughout the year. Her sauce and meatballs were worthy of a chef’s kiss.

Patti was happiest when enjoying a cup of coffee and chatting with family and friends. Her warmth, humor, and wisdom will be missed. Rest easy, Mom.

In addition to her husband, Carmen, Patti will be dearly missed by her children, Deborah Mooney and Suzanne Mooney of Warren; brother Tom Arnold (Kelly Ongley) of Spring Creek; numerous nieces and nephews; honorary family members Renee Tower, Elizabeth McClellan, Maureen Berg, Karen McLaughlin, and the families of Rob and Chris Greene and Barry and Irene Keller.

In addition to her parents, Patti was preceded in death by her sisters Joan Farnham and Donna Sherwood, and brothers John Martin and Bill Martin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM in St. Jospeh R.C. Church, 600 PA Ave. West Warren, PA, with the Rev. Richard Tomasone, pastor, officiating. Private burial will be held at Warren County Memorial Park. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through a charity of one’s choice. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.lewisfuneralhomeinc.com., or on the funeral home Facebook Page.
