Robert G. Rieder, 86, of Warren, PA., died on Saturday August 6, 2022, in the Warren Manor after an extended illness.

Bob was born March 13, 1936, in Warren, the son of the late Fritz and Bernice Prince Rieder, and was a lifelong Warren area resident. Bob was a self-employed land surveyor for many years, and developer of Drumcliffe. He was a member of the Jamestown American Legion and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Robert also served his country with the US Army from 1954-1956.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Mineweaser Rieder whom he married on June 29, 1976; two daughters Joan Bradigan and husband Tom of Cattaraugus, NY, and Maryann McGhee and husband Gary of Rio Grande, NJ; one stepson Dean Heffner and wife Lois of Warren, PA; one brother Jack Rieder; grandson Joe McGhee; two step grandchildren Kaitlin DeFazio, Joel Heffner; one step great granddaughter Arden Maeve DeFazio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Scott Rieder; a brother Bill Rieder; and one sister Betty Rieder.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph R.C. Church with Fr. Richard Tomasone, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Warren.
