Rose M. Scalise Halle, 94, of Warren, PA. died Tuesday morning, December 2, 2014 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home. She was born in Warren, PA., daughter of the late Frank and Rosanna Scalise. Rose was a lifelong Warren area resident and a graduate from St. Joseph Elementary School and Warren High School Class of 1937.

Rose was an active member at St. Joseph R.C. Church where she served as President of the Altar Rosary Society. She had previously worked on the funeral luncheon committee, wedding receptions, taught C.C.D. She was a member of the Warren Eagles and Senior Center. She enjoyed baking and canning. She is survived by 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Robert L. Halle whom she married in Warren in 1952, who died August 18, 1981, 2 Stepsons – George H. Halle, Robert L. Halle, Jr., 6 Brothers – Peter, Tony, Frank, Dominic, Lawrence and James Scalise, 2 Sisters – Edith McLaughlin and Angie Wetmore.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 5:45 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. The Rev. Fr. Richard Toohey, Pastor and Rev. Fr. Michael Polinek, Parochial Vicar at St. George R.C. Church, Erie, PA. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Resurrection in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
