Obituary

Sandra Lee Hansen, 84, of Warren, PA, passed away on Saturday July 18, 2026, in her home after an extended illness with the support of her family.

She was born November 27, 1941, in Warren, PA to the late Glenn and Violet Egger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hansen. They spent over 50 years of marriage together before his passing. 20 of those years were spent as a supportive military spouse. During this time, she raised four children who survive: Douglas Hansen and wife, Janet of Warren, PA, Debra Becklund and husband, Justin of Scandia, PA, Paul Hansen, and Curtis Hansen and his wife, Joni all of Sugar Grove, PA. She was the grandmother of 10 grandchildren; Kirstin (Luke) Hamilton, Dana (Jeff) Walton, Jason (Ashley) Blakeslee, Alicia (Phil) Woodrow, Michael Blakeslee, Kristi (Nick) Withers, Bryton Hansen, Preston Hansen, Colton (Gabe) Parker, and Whitney (Brad) Adams; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters, Carol Spicer, Donna (Jack) Hunt, Glenda Streich, Carrie Spence, brothers, Danny (Sally) Egger, and James Egger.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by a baby brother, Alvin Egger, beloved grandson, Casey Hansen, brother in laws, Stan Spicer, Leroy Streich, and Bill Spence, and her sister-in-law, Cindy Egger.

Sandra will be remembered for her Atlantic City bus trips with her sister and best friend, Carol, and through the years her gardening, canning, selling at craft shows, a lot of book reading, puzzles, holding yearly garage and book sales, her coke-a-cola, cooking and baking, and especially her delicious, Pumpkin Rolls.

After facing over 2 years, battling ovarian cancer and other medical challenges her family saw what a strong and courageous woman she was, all the way to her final day. “She is loved and we will miss her.”

A special “Thank You” to everyone at the Warren Cancer Center, who treated her with compassion and respect during her time there.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 22, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, PA.
