Sara "Sally" Ahlgren, 70, of Alexandria, VA and formerly of Warren, PA, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in Alexandria.

Sally was born on July 14, 1944 in Warren, PA the daughter of the late John Andrews and Rose Mihalko Andrews. She was a 1962 graduate of Warren High School. Sally was a longtime resident of Alexandria, VA and formerly employed as an insurance agent at Taylor and Clark (Wells Fargo). She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Alexandria, VA.

Sally is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Hunter and her husband, Eric, of Chesterfield, VA, a granddaughter, Megan Hunter, a sister Joan Phillips, and sister in law Gretchen Andrews, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Richard Ahlgren, and brother John Andrews.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8PM Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday at St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Warren, PA with Fr. James Gutting, Pastor of Holy Redeemer R. C. Church, Warren, PA, officiating.
