Sarah R. Montore, 94, a resident of the Warren Manor Nursing Home and formerly of Clarendon, Pa. died Wednesday evening, April 18, 2012. She was born April 12, 1918 in Clarendon, PA. to the late Frank and Dora Sparco Montore. She was a lifelong resident of Clarendon and had been employed for 34 years in the dietary dept. at Warren General Hospital retiring from there in 1980. She was a member of St. Anthony's of Paduca R.C. Church and a former member of the former St. Clara's R.C. Church.

Sarah is survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Montore of Clarendon, PA., Nephew – Joseph Montore and his wife, Lisa and their daughter, Lily all of North Huntington, PA., Niece _ Jude Bartels of Florida, Larry Albaugh of Michigan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers – Joseph Montore in infancy, Joseph Montore in 1987, Samuel Montore, 2 Sisters – Minnie Watson, Agnes Montore, 2 Nephews – Samuel "Sammy" Montore, Jr., James Albaugh.

There will be no visitation hours observed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. Anthony of Paduca R.C. Church, Saybrook, PA., with Rev. Fr. Thomas Aleksa, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through St. Anthony's R.C. Church or Clarendon Volunteer Fire Dept.
