Shirley M. Hawley, 87, of Warren, PA, died on Thursday Sept 3, 2026, at the Meadville Medical Center, after a brief illness, with her loving husband by her side.
She was born February 17, 1939, to the late Donald Leroy and Twila Maze Brown. She was a Warren area resident her entire life. Shirley was employed with the former GTE Sylvania in the Plastics/Wire Dept. for 32 years, retiring, March 1, 1997. She was a member of the Ladies of the Warren Moose, Lodge #109, and enjoyed camping at the masonic campgrounds. She was an exceptional wife and mother, and will be remembered as a kind and caring person, who never said anything negative.
Shirley is survived by her, loving husband, Albert, who she married July 11, 1959, in Warren, PA; two sons, Michael Hawley and wife, Barb Hill of Warren, PA, and Mark Hawley and wife, Tina of Jacksonville, FL; two grandsons, Harrison Hawley and wife, Maria and Houston Hawley and companion, Danielle, all of Jacksonville, FL; one great granddaughter, Clover Hawley; and brother, Larry Brown of Warren, PA.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald, Clyde, Merle, and Allen Brown, sisters, Lois Collins, Nancy Wright, and Helen Reist; and daughter in law, Barbara Hawley.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, PA, on Tuesday September 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Tom Pierotti, retired Lutheran minister, officiating. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
