Brian Michael Silvis, born January 3, 1986, in Clarion, PA. Brian grew up in Marienville, PA, and knew at a young age that living a life of service was best fit for him. He began his working career with the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home
in Clarion, PA. Starting with routine maintenance and moving up to, transfers of loved ones, viewings, services, burials, certified crematory operator, as well as monument, design, sales, and installation.
His experience continued to grow and expand over the years. Brian graduated from East Forest High School, Class of 2004. After, he attended the former Clarion University, obtaining an
associate’s degree in general business studies. He then enrolled in the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, completing the yearlong courses
required to become a licensed funeral director. In, 2010, once licensed, he continued working full time with the Burns Funeral Home until 2016. At which time, Brian relocated to Central PA, and became employed with Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services. There he worked along side seasoned Funeral Directors, learning new skills and adding to his experience to better serve families. In
Central PA, he served families from many different religions, and
denominations, as well as operating a successful trade embalming service, for many local funeral homes.
In 2021 Brian felt a need to return to Western, PA, and the vast opportunities of the Allegheny National Forest were calling, he enjoys boating on the Allegheny Reservoir, hiking, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
Brian, has worked alongside 2nd generation owner, Michael Lewis, for the
last six years creating lasting relationships with citizens of the
great community of Warren. Brian has been a licensed funeral director for 16 years and has the experience and knowledge to assist with any matters in the funeral home. In 2024, He obtained his New York Funeral Directors License to better serve the families in this area.
He is here to carry on all the traditions that the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home has been known to provide. He resides in Pleasant Township with his wife, Shana, daughter, Raegan, and their two pets.
Brian is available 24 hrs. a day to provide the upmost care and respect to the families he serves.

Michael B. " Mike" Lewis, was born in Erie, Pa, and has resided in Warren since 1972. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School, Class of 1980, and a 1985 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Mike worked with his late father, Don until his retirement in 1997. In 1998, Mike and his wife, Lisa, purchased the funeral home and continued to serve the community for the last 42 years providing exceptional care to the families of Warren.
In January 2026, with the help from Brian, Mike was able to take a step back from the day to day activities of the funeral home to enjoy more free time. He will continue to help and assist with the funeral home, and the families we serve.
